Later this year the public is invited to attend the
White House Conference on Aging
, an event held in Washington
1. The White House
Administration is still in the process of finalizing the event date and
programming details. A series of aging-specific webinars is also in development
for those who cannot travel to our nation’s capital.
To develop program content for the event, the Administration
launched listening sessions in July 2014, which included stakeholders, older
Americans, and advocates across the country. The sessions were designed to
collect programming ideas based on information from stakeholders that include
older Americans in the general public and those who work in aging-related
fields. The following list outlines some of the suggested topics for inclusion
in the conference programming lineup.
- Retirement Security
- Healthy Aging
- Long Term Services and Supports
- Elder Justice
As the program details and dates become
available, Sage Products will share the updated information with you.
